Before she ever stood behind a pulpit, Anita studied pharmaceutical research at UC Berkeley, aspiring to develop chemical solutions for clean water worldwide. But God had a different plan.
Coming from a family with 23 active ministers across various denominations, ministry was woven into her DNA. In 1994, Anita accepted her call to preach and teach the Gospel — and she’s been leading others toward transformation ever since.

Anita serves alongside her husband, Pastor Marvin Wamble, at Grace United Methodist Church in Fort Washington, Maryland. Together, they’ve built a ministry grounded in service, teaching, and community engagement.
Outside the pulpit, Anita also works as a Program Analyst for FEMA, merging her commitment to public service with her spiritual mission. Her professional and ministerial life both reflect her passion for equipping people — whether in crisis management or spiritual renewal.
Her favorite scripture, Ephesians 4:11–13, speaks of equipping the saints and building unity in faith — a vision that shapes her ministry approach. She teaches that believers must move from simply knowing the Word to living it daily.
